Notes on the Industrial Revolution as a problem of the philosophy of crisis - the case of the home and the factory as environments of transformation

1) The home is an environment of transformation:

A) In it, I can transform raw materials into products that can satisfy human needs - the greatest proof of this is in the artisanal workshops, ateliers and kitchens that exist inside our homes, apart from the libraries, offices and laboratories, which have emerged in a more recent way.

B) It is a favorable environment where the confluence between the ideas we think and those we acquire over time occurs in order to produce something intelligent and constructive. And to build something intellectually productive, which can perfect the freedom of many in the merits of Christ, the contemplative life is essential. And this not only calls for a pious religious life, but it also calls for the cultivation of good habits that encourage the virtue of thinking - such as, for example, the habit of playing many strategy games that invite the person playing to practice philosophical reflection. This is the apostolate of fun in the service of sanctification through study and work.

C) As it is a meeting place, the home can also be an environment where arrangements occur through which transactions that are most sacred in the merits of Christ are protected and preserved from the tyranny of evil rulers. They are also an environment where the practice of integration between people is developed, one of the foundations of personal responsibility, since we must see God in people and honor them in what is good, since truth is the foundation of freedom. This is the philosophy of loyalty.

D) The place where everything we collected was dispersed to be gathered in a certain place, through our libraries or our stocks for future use. This is how the crisis resulting from the Industrial Revolution is resolved, because through the good use of what is dispersed in society we discover its solution, to the point of revealing new paths to solving this spiritual and civilizational crisis that we are all going through.

2.1) Between the factory - which is a specialized transformation center - and the home - which is a much more comprehensive transformation center -, the return to home at some point in History is vital to combat the spiritual crisis that occurred during from the Industrial Revolution. Displacing man from his home, from his family, to the point of forming nuclear families wherever he goes, simply generated a great crisis in the great chain of being without which it is impossible to produce any knowledge based on the assumption that the truth It is the foundation of freedom.

2.2) When this chain is broken, science and technology are servants of inequity, of revolutionary ideology, since the foundation of research is what remains convenient and outside the truth, in order to improve the process of domination about men - and this is a vain search, devoid of meaning.
